SteelCloud has confirmed that it has started delivering its ConfigOS STIG compliance automation software to the US Air Force for a new initiative.
FREMONT, CA: SteelCloud LLC, a prominent STIG and CIS compliance automation software developer, has introduced that it has started delivering its ConfigOS STIG compliance automation software to the US Air Force for a new initiative. SteelCloud's ConfigOS software is expected to be available on every Air Force base over the next five years under this program.
Thousands of Windows and Linux endpoints are expected to be covered by the license for its ConfigOS suite of compliance software. This software was approved to help speed up RMF and ATO processes while tracking and remediating STIG compliance.
"We are excited to be supporting another large Air Force program with our STIG compliance automation software," said Brian Hajost, SteelCloud President and CEO. "We are seeing increased demand from our SI partners to leverage SteelCloud's patented software to deliver higher quality, lower-cost cyber-compliant programs to their government customers," he added.
ConfigOS is used in both classified and unclassified settings and military and weapon system programs, disconnected laboratories, and the commercial cloud. ConfigOS is a client-less operating system that doesn't require any software agents. In less than two minutes, ConfigOS scans endpoint systems and remediates hundreds of STIG controls. Comprehensive compliance reporting and STIG Viewer Checklist integration are included, along with automated remediation rollback. ConfigOS was developed to harden hundreds of CAT 1/2/3 STIG controls over an application stack in less than 60 minutes, saving weeks or months on the RMF accreditation process.
SteelCloud creates STIG and CIS compliance software for government consumers and others who help the government with technology. Their products automate policy and security remediation by lowering the complexity, commitment, and cost of meeting government security mandates. SteelCloud has provided security policy-compliant solutions to military components worldwide, making implementation and mission support easier. The GSA Schedule 70 contract makes it simple to license SteelCloud products.
