A new collaboration will assist federal government agencies in driving AI and machine learning (ML) initiatives and advancements.
FREMONT, CA: Governments can maintain smooth operations due to IT technologies. The public sector is becoming more efficient as a result of e-government technologies. With technological improvements and lifestyle changes, the function of the public sector has become more complex. Carahsoft Technology Corp., the Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®, and Rescale, the leader in high-performance computing (HPC) created for the cloud to speed engineering innovation, declared a strategic alliance.
Carahsoft will serve as Rescale's Public Sector Distributor, bringing its computational engineering solutions to the public sector via Carahsoft's reseller partners and NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V and Information Technology Enterprise Solutions Software 2 (ITES-SW2) contracts.
"Rescale gives Federal agencies the performance, flexibility, IT control and security they need to run these new workloads in the cloud. By partnering with Carahsoft and its resellers, agencies have trusted partners to efficiently deliver the IT control and security results that the Government needs to operate successfully." says Matt McKee, Chief Operating Officer, Rescale.
As the leading cloud platform for computational science and engineering, Rescale assists customers in the private and public sectors who rely on computational models to simulate real-world phenomena and how products would react in the natural world, from weather and quantum mechanics to learning how engineered products will perform under enormous stresses such as aerodynamics and crash tests. Rescale became the first HPC cloud platform solution to join the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). This United States Government program provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services.
