Grayshift Promotes David Scruggs To The Position Of Chief Revenue Officer

David Scruggs will continue to add his sales leadership expertise to Grayshift as he becomes the new chief revenue officer.

The Grayshift, one of the leading and most trusted providers of mobile digital forensics solutions, unveiled that David Scruggs has been promoted from Vice President of Sales to Chief Revenue Officer of the company. As part of his new role, he will be responsible for generating revenue and leading the organization's revenue generation efforts. Scruggs's role as Grayshift's Chief Revenue Officer will lead the company's global Go-to-Market strategy for public safety agencies, engage the company's channel partners and drive pre-sales engineering worldwide. In addition to developing cross-functional growth strategies, he will oversee all existing and new partnerships and ensure that what customers need in terms of digital forensics is incorporated into revenue generation strategies.

Scruggs offers a unique perspective on the field as a veteran of the cyber security sector with over twenty years of experience. Before joining Grayshift in 2020, he served as Senior Director, Workload and Analytics at Cisco Systems, where he was a key player in the integration of Cisco Security acquisitions into Cisco Systems and played a key role in restructuring the company as well. Previously, he was the Vice President of Sales at Lancope, where he successfully scaled the business to the point of acquisition before moving on to his next ventures. At IBM and Internet Security Systems, he held various sales roles in the past.
