FREMONT, CA: Security is an issue when it comes to any online networks, be it MNC, SME or business conglomerates. Protecting the huge volume of data, transactions and information can’t be left in the hands of anybody. In a bid to expand and protect the various Information Technology networks Corsica Technologies, a global leader in IT services, has acquired and merged with EDTS Cyber and its sister firm EDTS, both firms that provide cyber security and IT infrastructure services.
With this new partnership deal, Corsica is now able to produce total network security services 24x7x365 for all its clients and customers globally. By joining with EDTS Cyber and EDTS, Corsica can now provide advanced cyber security services in threat detection, monitoring, incident response, and assessments along with its existing security consulting services. With a backing of multiple certified experts, advanced tools for threat detection and elimination, and proven process methods Corsica now looks forward to providing advanced information technology security infrastructures that can protect organizations and their data.
On the management front, Dale Walls, the present CEO of Corsica, will continue his role for the combined firms. He shares that the fit between the companies made perfect sense and that he is excited about the merger. “I look forward to bringing an award-winning security practice group into the Corsica platform," says Walls.
By combining the years of experience of both EDTS and Corsica, both nationally ranked for its managed IT security services, the experts in the field are expecting a plethora of next-gen services that will be available for the ever increasing client demands.
"EDTS's focus on being that true partner and advisor for our clients mean always looking for ways to improve our service delivery and our offerings,” says Charles Johnson (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCFP), Founder and CEO of EDTS and EDTS Cyber. The combined companies, with similar models and commitments to excellence, will truly make us better together, he added.
Corsica, which was acquired by the private equity group Inverness Graham in 2018, with this acquisition, will be looking forward to expanding to 11 new locations, an advanced Security Operations Center with professionally certified services, and an increase in qualified personals under its domain.
